By accessing or using the Dukan Daftar mobile application ("the App"), available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Dukan Daftar ("we", "us", "our"). If you are using the App on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

By clicking "Install" on the Play Store or App Store, or by opening the app for the first time, you accept these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part, you should not use the app and should uninstall it.
Dukan Daftar is a shop management application designed for small and medium retail businesses in Pakistan. The app provides the following core services:

Dukan Daftar offers three subscription tiers. Features vary by plan, and you may upgrade or change plans at any time.

1 Month Free Trial: The Basic and Business plans each include a free first month for new installations. The trial applies once per device installation and is non-transferable. No payment is required during the trial period. After the trial ends, the standard monthly rate applies. The Enterprise plan is not included in this offer.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is due at the start of each billing period.

Payments are processed via bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or other agreed methods.

All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' prior notice.

No refunds are issued for partially used subscription periods, except in cases of our technical failure.

3-Month Free Offer: Users who purchase an approved POS hardware device through Dukan Daftar receive 3 months of the Business Plan at no charge. This offer is non-transferable, valid once per device, and cannot be combined with other promotions.
Dukan Daftar is designed as a single-device, single-shop application. Each installation is tied to one shop. You are responsible for:

Keeping your PIN code confidential and not sharing it with unauthorized persons

All activity that occurs under your app installation
✓
Maintaining regular backups of your data
✓
Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

We are not liable for data loss resulting from a forgotten PIN or failure to take backups
Dukan Daftar uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0) to authenticate users for cloud-based features such as Google Drive backup. By using Google Sign-In within the app, you agree to the following:

You must own or have authorization to use the Google account you connect to the app

Google Sign-In is bound by Google's own Terms of Service (accounts.google.com/TOS) in addition to ours
✓
We access only the permissions you explicitly grant — email, name, and Google Drive (for backup only)
✓
You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time via myaccount.google.com

We are not responsible for any issues arising from your Google account being suspended, restricted, or deleted by Google

Scope of access: We request only the minimum permissions necessary. We do not access your Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or any other Google data beyond what is required for authentication and Drive backup.
Dukan Daftar ERP is an upcoming product designed for larger businesses requiring multi-branch management, cloud sync, HR, and advanced accounting. The following additional terms apply when you subscribe to the ERP product:

ERP subscriptions are priced separately from the core app plans and billed as agreed at time of sign-up

ERP stores business data on our secure cloud servers — this is a required part of the ERP service
✓
You retain full ownership of all data stored on our servers — we do not claim any rights over it
✓
You can request a full data export at any time; upon cancellation, data is retained for 30 days then deleted
✓
A dedicated data processing agreement (DPA) will be provided to ERP subscribers upon request

ERP features requiring internet connectivity will not function during outages — we recommend keeping local records for critical operations
Full ERP-specific terms will be provided as a separate addendum at the time of ERP subscription. These Terms continue to apply alongside any ERP-specific addendum.
You agree to use Dukan Daftar only for lawful, legitimate retail and business management purposes. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

Using the app to record or facilitate any illegal transaction, money laundering, or tax evasion

Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the app's source code

Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the app or your subscription to third parties

Using automated scripts or bots to interact with the app
✗
Attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the app or its servers
✗
Entering false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your subscription without refund.
Your business data belongs entirely to you. This includes all products, customer records, sales transactions, supplier information, and financial records you enter into the app.

We do not access, sell, share, or use your business data for any commercial purpose

You can export and delete your data at any time
✓
Uninstalling the app permanently removes all local data from your device

We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, theft, or user error — please take regular backups

Important: Dukan Daftar is an offline-first app. We do not maintain server-side copies of your data (except for ERP subscribers, as disclosed in Section 6). If your device is lost, stolen, or reset without a prior backup, your data cannot be recovered by us.
For users who purchase POS hardware devices through Dukan Daftar (such as the Android Handheld POS Terminal or Ciontek CS30), the following additional terms apply:

Hardware purchases are separate transactions from software subscriptions
→
Hardware warranty is provided by the device manufacturer, not Dukan Daftar
→
We will install and configure the app on purchased devices as a one-time setup service

The 3-month free software offer applies only to devices purchased directly through us

Hardware returns or exchanges must be arranged within 7 days of delivery, subject to device condition

We are not responsible for hardware damage caused by misuse, drops, liquid damage, or unauthorized repair
The Dukan Daftar name, logo, app design, user interface, code, and all associated materials are the intellectual property of Dukan Daftar. All rights are reserved.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the app or its components

You may not use our logo, name, or branding without written permission

Screenshots of the app may be shared for personal use but not for commercial advertising without permission

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dukan Daftar shall not be liable for:

Any loss of business data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities

Data loss resulting from device failure, theft, factory reset, or lack of backup
!
App downtime, bugs, or errors that cause interruption to your business operations
!
Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app
!
Actions of third-party services, including Google Drive or Google Sign-In, that affect your account or backup data
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Dukan Daftar shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

The app is provided "as-is". While we work hard to keep it reliable and accurate, we make no guarantees that it will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times. Always keep independent records of critical financial data.
By You: You may stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app terminates your use immediately. No refunds are issued for unused subscription time.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Dukan Daftar, with or without notice, if:

You violate any provision of these Terms

You use the app for illegal or fraudulent purposes
!
Your subscription payment fails repeatedly despite reminders
!
Continued access poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the app
Upon termination, you should export and save any data you wish to keep before your access is removed.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

Display an in-app notification informing you of the changes

Post the updated Terms at dukandaftar.pk/terms
Continued use of the app after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the app.
